Councillor Fred Borg Fred Borg

Fred has been active in the Macarthur community for over 45 years. Raising money for charities which directly benefit local people is dearest to his heart. He has been the Chairman of the 24 Hour Fight Against Cancer Macarthur since it began in 2005.

Fred has harnessed local business and community support and appreciates the generosity of sponsors who make it possible for 100% of the money raised to go to patient care and comfort.

Fred is immensely proud of the success of the 24 Hour Fight Against Cancer Macarthur and of willingness of the wider Macarthur community to embrace this cause so generously. His long term goal is to see Macarthur children with cancer able to receive all of their treatment within our local area.
